Mission Statement: Our mission at Recruit Me TV is to utilize technology and social media to position you as one of the 1%-3% of high school athletes who go on to play sports at the college level. In doing so, we will optimize the opportunities presented to you, and assist you in making the best choice possible given your athletic talent, academic record, and financial needs.
It is important to keep in focus that the end goal in this entire process is for you to get a four- year college degree at the best school suited for you, with the least amount of expense to you and your family. Your athletic talent can give you a distinct advantage in this process, but never forget that your education is the payoff to all the hard work you have demonstrated, both on and off the playing surface.
College athletic recruiters have a difficult job. They usually cover large areas in terms of geography, and number of schools and players to research. The use of video and social media has become critical to their process. Our goal is to use those mediums to maximize the exposure you have to the greatest number of colleges that fall within your criteria.
The Recruit Me TV staff of professionals take personal ownership of your son or daughter’s college and athletic future. At Recruit Me TV we pride ourselves in our commitment to that goal. As one of our recruiting prospects you will have a member of our staff personally assigned to you in order to walk you through the process of college recruitment. First and foremost, we are available to both recruit and parents/guardians via, phone, text, email, etc. for your questions, concerns, or simply conversation concerning your recruiting progress.
There are a number of services that we provide, each balanced with personal attention to your son or daughter’s specific situation.
Prior to beginning our process, if you have not already done so, we will facilitate a meeting between you and your high school guidance counselor who can help you sort out which schools would best fit you from an academic and social nature.
Step one in our process is for our recruits to complete a detailed questionnaire for our use in preparing our interview and any subsequent promotional material. Accuracy and candor are CRITICAL when completing this questionnaire as it forms the basis of setting our goals and objectives for the recruit and his or her family.
At Recruit Me TV Our goal is to create a personal relationship between our staff and our recruits and their families so that we are better able to understand and have a clear picture of your recruiting goals and expectations.
Step two is an in-depth interview with the recruit, parents, guardians, etc. The purpose of this interview is for us to expand the information provided in the questionnaire, and to assure that the recruit, parents/guardians, and our staff are all aligned with the same goals and objectives moving forward.
In some cases, portions of this interview may be videotaped and subsequently used to prepare the recruit’s personal video, social media presence, etc.
At this time we will also discuss with the recruit and family guidelines for using social media, Twitter, Tick Tock, Facebook, etc. While these are extremely valuable tools, if misused they can severely damage a recruit’s college opportunities. It is IMPERATIVE for the recruit and his or her family to have an understanding of the potential pitfalls presented when using these tools.
