Time to Shine and Separate Ourselves: ONE of the MOST Important Things to Do

As the basketball season gets in full swing here for our A2D Elite Girls, there is something that is VERY important to do. This is what separates those that desire to attain Elite Status as well as to stay consistently in Elite Status from those that just go through the motions and don’t perform to the level of being able to live the dream.

This is now the time to GRIND. THIS is the time where we will TRULY SEPARATE OURSELVES from the rest of the pack. It is important to CONTINUE TO TRAIN during the school season. We can’t stress this enough. It is important to be CONSISTENT. The training does NOT stop.

For those that have been actively participating in the A2D Elite Girls Basketball Academy, you don’t want to forget this. You worked consistently throughout the spring, and throughout the summer. You have consistently been putting in the work, but IT DOESN’T STOP here.

When the season starts, you’re practicing every day, and once the games start, you may be playing twice or three times a week, but you still have school, and you still have homework. However, you need to find time to work on your game shots. You need to find time to work on ball handling, You need to find time to continue working on the fundamentals to keep them solid. These are things that will keep you sharp throughout the course of the season. If you don’t, ALL the work that you have put in diminishes, It diminishes because you have stopped. You have been consistent throughout the spring and summer, and then all of a sudden you just stopped. You stopped working. You stopped being consistent with the fundamentals.

So don’t stop. Be consistent. This is the season where you truly separate yourself from the others, and you work to attain and keep the Elite Status that will carry you through to your dreams.

We will not let what we built upon to diminish.
